Every call, email, meeting, and note in one timeline
A single cross-record feed of everything that happened with a contact, lead, or opportunity — grouped by day, filterable by kind.
Activities, at /crm/activities, is a unified timeline that cuts across every contact, lead, and opportunity at once: each logged call, email, meeting, note, or task shows up in one day-grouped feed, filterable by kind and date range and searchable across subject and body. Every entry links back to the record it happened on.
Vocabulary-driven kinds
The kind filter chips aren't a fixed list in code — they're read from the workspace's activity_kinds vocabulary setting, so each industry preset can ship its own set of activity kinds.
- Generic default: email, call, meeting, note, task, sms
- Financial services / insurance / banking add kinds like event or quote
- Field service uses call, sms, email, site_visit, estimate, note, task
Grouped by day
The feed is bucketed under sticky "Today" / "Yesterday" / dated headers, with the newest activity first within each day, so a long history stays scannable.
Filter, range, and search
Activities can be narrowed by kind, by a date range (today, 7 days, 30 days, 90 days, or all time), and by a free-text search across subject and body.
Linked to the record it happened on
Each entry can carry a contact, account, lead, and/or opportunity link (shown as a jump-to link on the row), a call/meeting duration in minutes, an inbound/outbound direction, and an AI-generated sentiment tag.
- See a rep's complete activity history across every deal in one place
- Confirm the last time a contact was actually touched, and how
- Review call and meeting sentiment trends over a quarter
